WTF is up with these Simpsons slush seller searches?

I watch the Simpsons, and I have no idea WTF you’re looking for and why I’m getting all these search engine referrals. The one instance of “slush” found on this site actually refers to New York City snow. If anyone cares to comment and let me know, please do. Note that I haven’t seen the past two episodes, but they’re on my Tivo.

There is a crossword puzzle book – the Black and White by Will Shortz, p. 195, that gives as clue #41: Slushy seller on “The Simpsons”. Just thought I’d try Google. That’s WTF on the searches.

OK, I got it. The answer is: Apu. I only figured it out by knowing or figuring out the words “rearmost” (like peanut gallery seats), “expiable” (not beyond redemption), and “studious” (painstaking). The third letter in each of those words is “Apu” (Slushy seller on “The Simpsons”). Sheesh. Will Shortz, as a friend of mine says, truly is a S.O.B. Have a good day.

Heh, googing for crossword puzzle answers may be construed as cheating. Anyway, I’m still not sure why my blog had originally come up on Google searches. I do know a few Apus, but I don’t believe I’ve ever mentioned any of them here.
